I loved this place! The architectural building is hip and cool, plenty of parking with the Valet service. I was already in a good mood. I have previewed the menu and I was totally sold. Keep in mind I am not a big fan of leaving the Marina. That is Marina Del Rey, CA. Once I am home everything is a project to get me out. Well in this case I was looking forward to the “long commute”J

The menu is clearly East Coast Seafood, how could that be bad?  I am also not a big fan of early dinner, but Diane and I decided that we should do the first sitting to see what the restaurant is made of. We were seated inside, keep in mind we made reservations and we had a choice of the outdoor patio with heat lamps or being inside with open tables. We wanted to feel the vibe and see the kitchen., hence we were inside!

We were not disappointed. The service was impeccable and the food was well prepared. I would have no problem bringing friends, family or clients to this restaurant. Keep in mind if you are not a Sea Food lover this is not the place for you to eat at.

 I had the tasting menu of Chowder: Manhattan, New England & Rhode Island. The last two were out of this world. The Manhattan…I make it betterJ not as acidic… Diane went with the tried and tested Fried Clams with The Bellies (very New England) with a side order of Mac & Cheese (I believe they could have added Lobster to bring it up to the next level) and a side order of potato salad.

I chose the Lobster Roll with drawn with hot butter instead of the traditional Mayonnaise and of course with French Fries.

The result was a total success, now keep in mind, this was New Years Eve. It takes a lot of effort and good food to get me out, since the service & the food can be a hit or miss. Never the less we were home for the Television version of New Years EveJ and were able to enjoy our Champaign and the experience was fantastic… (That is another blog)
