Month to Month Analysis of the Condominiums Sold in 90064 also known as Century City.
Yesterday I did a month to month analysis of the Single Family Residences in the 90064 zip code also known as Century City. This generated a lot of interest as well as curiosity as to how the Condominium Sales fared for the past twelve month period in the same 90064 zip code.
As I mentioned the single family residences had an amazing increase of 63%, virtually unheard in any other market. So not surprisingly the Condominium Market showed a 43% price increase month over month. Here are the charts see it for your own peace of mind.
As I mention yesterday, for those of you who did not read it I am repeating some of the interesting points about Century City, which consists of predominantly Condominiums as well as it has a Center of Town. Some people consider it the “other down town” of Los Angeles. There is a large Financial Business Hub as well as a large group of Law firms and let’s not forget 20th Century Fox Studios better known as Fox Studios now. It has also become the home of Creative Artists Agency better known as CAA http://www.caa.com/. In addition there is also the old home of MGM Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM). Since their Chapter 11 reorganization in 2010 they have quietly moved to Beverly Hills to a smaller less ostentatious building. Keep in mind it is nothing to be ashamed of (it is the old home of CAAJ)
This pocket of Los Angeles has a great desirability due its close proximity to Beverly Hills as well as being close to the Pacific Ocean. It is virtually walking distance to Beverly Hills boutiques and shops. It is also walking distance to the Century City Mall.
