The Marina Del Rey’s 51st Holiday Boat Parade will be on December 14, 2013
The Boat Parade is always a fun event, you run into likeminded people and neighbors who you might not have seen for a long time. The best part our Boat Parade viewing does not require driving and searching for a parking placeJ. We live less than 500 yards from the Channel so cocktail in hand we go and enjoy the parade as well as the fireworks.
So if you are in Marina Del Rey, CA and live near the Ocean or the Channel you basically have the luxury of front row seats for the Boat Parade. If you do not live near the water come early, because often times the streets get closed down.
Looking for parking there are numerous County Parking Facilities nearby and under $6 you can park and enjoy the Boat Parade.
This year’s Grand Marshalls will be Jeannie Buss & Phil Jackson of Lakers’ fame. Keep in mind Marina Del Rey has a number of Celebrities who live hereJ so who knows with whom you might be literally rubbing elbows to see the Boat ParadeJ.
