The Fidelity National Home Warranty Company was a true hero for the new buyers!

The importance of having a Home Warranty cannot be emphasized enough. The other day, my buyers just moved into their new home.  A few days after this momentous event, they received their home warranty information.

There was a package explaining how to register their home on line and to initiate the protection. Fidelity National Home Warranty had a very simple and professional package. The buyers waited a few days before they accomplished this task.

The following morning the buyers discovered that the water was not as hot as in the previous days. Not being focused on it, since it was Sunday they went out and enjoyed the day. When they got home it was clear that the Hot Water heater was not working. Not wanting to call in the middle of the evening they waited for the next morning to call.

The Fidelity National Call Center Operator was fantastic; she informed the buyers that they could have called, since the hours of operation are:

5am -10pm M-F and 6am-10pm on weekends

Needless to say that within four hours there was a plumber who fixed the problem. This is clearly a good example why every home buyer should have a Home Warranty in place when they are ready to move into their new home. There are often unforeseen and unexpected breakdowns when you purchase a home.

Keep in mind not all home warranty companies are the same, obviously Fidelity National is a company that stands behind it’s promise.
