Bird of Paradise: Who knew I would have a bush in the back yard!

Bird of Paradise: I have always loved them now there is a bush in our backyard!

I have loved Bird of Paradise, since my first visit to the West Coast I have fallen in love and continue to love Bird of Paradise. I flew in to Phoenix, Arizona to visit my friend in Mesa, Arizona. I have never seen Bird of Paradise, the Flower and I fell in love. So who knew that a hundred years later I would be living in a home and have a Bird of Paradise Bush in my back yard!

For those who are not familiar with, well let me share with you some of the common names:

In South Africa they call this the Crane Flower! I find it a good choice for a name!

The best part is Bird of Paradise is the official flower on Los Angeles. Who knew that my like and wants and needs would lead me to a city where the flower is recognized as the “Official Flower” of the City of Los AngelesJ
