Marina Del Rey: Breaking News Earthquake Rocks Marina Del Rey, CA

I was prepping Dinner and Diane was feeding the cats another normal Friday evening at home. Then at 7:52 pm the ground shook, Diane was on the floor feeding the cats and said”… did you feel that?…” As I was chopping onions for my Seafood Risotto I indicated “yes”. My guess was about a 3.1 since the pictures did not shake nor did the nick knacks on top of the furniture.

Well it turned out the Earthquake was 3.2 and it was about 1.5 miles south east of Marina Del Rey I.E.:   about 1 mile from where we live and about 2miles North of El Segundo.

Ironically fifteen years ago we would have been nervous now we did not even do anything out of the ordinary…we continued doing what we were doing beforeJ

So what were you doing at 7:52pm?

Needless to say inspite of these few interruptions Marina Del Rey is a Fantastic place to live all year around! We do not have Snow Storm, Tornadoes and I could go on and onJ
